If I remember it all then clicked in with all that bapt info from the archives
re the kids baptisms

Bapt info at Wesleyan Stourbridge Chapel
David the son of Joseph Weston Tracemaker of Dudley Wood in the Parish of Dudley and Country of Worcester and Mary his wife who was the daughter of Joseph and Erskine Stokes was born on the 11 Dec 1827 and was baptised on 6th Feb 1828 - info looked up by Jan along with sibs bapt.

That name erskine travels down from Erskine Stokes

Joseph Weston and Mary Stokes call their dau it
and
John WEston and Elizabeth call their dau it
wits for John and Eliz are his sister
and John weston and dinah call their dau askin/Heskin/erskine....all same variations.
