FreeBMD has a marriage for John Ponsord in Dec 18498 in Bridgewater (I know there are family ties there), I wonder if this is my great-great grandfather and his wife Ann? Jimmy do you pay a subscription to the Census website?

1841, Spaxton.
John Ponsford 16.
Ann Burge 15.

Managed to find the complete list of people in that household, John & Ann were servants. I think I will now look to find out more from the women in the tree. To go further back I would need to order John & Anns wedding certificate.

I think you would need the marriage cert for John and Ann to say for certain.
