Someone just tried breaking into my apartment. Ever so slightly shook up at the moment.

How are you feeling today after that nasty experience?

Feeling much better today thanks :)

Rather foolishly perhaps, I'm thinking of going away for a couple of days. Somewhere quiet, give me chance to calm down properly etc.

I can understand that Mallosa it must be dreadful to find some one broke into your home and looked through your things  , we have just had some new safety locks fitted and some gadgets on the back windows even though thwy have locks, just thought it would make it a bit harder for them.

Oh goodness Brickwalls what a shock!
I'd be so scared.
Can understand you wanting to go away and relax but make sure your home is well watched!
I hope you soon feel better.

I'm terrible for not locking up, even leaving doors wide open all night!
The kids check now that its all locked.

Just take care of yourself.

It was dreadful Annie, we were in bed at the time and we didn't hear a thing!

That is worse than ever Mallosa , to think they were roaming round your house while you were asleep, it could have been worse if you had woke up and they had harmed you.

If they'd seen me when I had just woken up, it would have probably scared them off Annie!

I had my car broken into when I worked as a radiographer in the UK, the police said they knew who it was, kids from a local home - they coudn't prove it though (even though they took bits away for fingerprinting).
They're building a new multistorey carpark where I work now - I'm not going to park the car there when I'm working evenings - I wont feel safe. I recon all the local car thíefs will make a beeline.
I think we should reintroduce transportation for people who can't keep respect other peoples property. I mean we work hard for the things we have, it's not just a free for all.
In Denmark we now have a law that fines people who buy stolen goods up to about £10,000. I hope they inforce it, and more importantly are seen to do so.
Thiefs are just scum.
