LAMBE Elizabeth (x) sp dau of Ann servant since married to John
BLINCKHORN

Mary LAMBE

Closest Jane Charity:
CHARITY Jane dau of George & Sarah soldier born 29 Dec 1807

Just found this!!! 1851 census:

View Record John Blinkhorn Chatteris, Cambridge Cambridgeshire, England, Chatteris Male 52
View Record William Gowler Chatteris, Cambridge Cambridgeshire, England, Chatteris Male 8

This is where I am presuming that Ann is daughter of Thomas and Sarah

Thomas & Sarah Lambe had Ann and Sarah.

Ann had Elizabeth Lambe (and possibly John?) and then married John Blinkhorn
Sarah married George Charity and had Jane

Elizabeth Lambe married Robert Gowler and had William +others
Jane Charity (Elizabeth's cousin) married John Walker -- they had 5 known children Sarah, Mary, John, Thomas and Robert before (possibly dying before 1851)

In this case Sarah was actually Elizabeth's first cousin once removed

Hmm im not sure thats right :

Ann Blinkhorn dies 1867 aged 80. Tracing that back, theres a Ann Lambe b 1786 - So im assuming thats the same one - but her parents are John and Mary

16 BLINKHORN John widr
LAMBE Ann (x) sp botp
wits: John LAMBE
John NEWITT
Mary LAMBE

This marriage is 1829 - John was married before to Elizabeth Noble.

Ok so were Ann (1786) and Sarah (1790) the cousins and their fathers' John and Thomas Lambe the brothers?

Our Sarah would still probably count themselves as cousins in a small area like the Hive even if we would make them second cousin once removed! -- I know my grandparents called that relationship cousins in the 1920's in the Black Country

I think that looks good -Going further back 20 years? and finding a baptism for both Thomas and John Lambe with the same parents would ben the icing on the cake
