The Samule married to Lucy Aston has parents Richard and Judith I think
and he calls his dau Judith
I wonder if we connect but add a note rea our Samuel Siviter b 1770
This one has brother Mark
http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =683486196This one calls his son Mark
http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =202326990I think same family

Okay.....after sniffing around this is what I found.....
Mark Siviter was the only Baptism with parents Samuel and Martha I could find at Halesowen.
There are none at Rowley Regis.
However, at Cradley we have the following who I suggest are Mark's siblings.
John Siviter 01 AUG 1806 Cradley, Worcester, England
Mary Siviter 01 JAN 1809 Cradley, Worcester, England
Jemima Siviter 28 MAR 1810 Cradley, Worcester, England
Phebe Siviter 08 JUL 1812 Cradley, Worcester, England (Died 08 NOV 1812)

Gets confusing....
A Samuel and Martha Siveter have a son Samuel born in 1803 in Cradley and Baptised Jan 1804 in the Park Lane Presbyterian Chapel.
That is the only entry for Siviter in that chapel.
A Mark and Mary Siviter bury 6 month old Sarah on the 2nd June 1833 in Oldbury with the ceremony held at the Weslyan Methodist Chapel.
That is the only entry for Siviter in that chapel.
The Hadley and Ford decendants of Ellen Siviter were Primitive Methodists.
Quite often with these families I see some ceremonies in the Parish Church and other in the Non-conformist. Sometimes in both (I have children in my tree who are Baptised in CofE and Weslyan on the same day...).
You can see the influence of their denominations in the naming of the Hadley/Ford/Cutler lines where Zechariah and Moses and similar start to appear.

Jemima Siviter ends up marrying a James Bennett.
One of their children is a convict and transported to Australia.
Yeah!!!!! My first convict.
Ooo...lots of photographs of him.
