Hi Northernlass
Was just hoping if Annie could shed some more light on the 9 children, or was I right that the census just states amount born and living?

Yes it just gives the amount of born and living
and then lists those in the household

you will need to find the other census have you george weding cert who down as the father ? as you said henry died 1875 george was born 1878 ?

Yes you are right Broonyboy they only record the amount of children not the names.

who down as father for george on wedding cert have you got his birth cert as well if not might be worth sending for it if you think its your george ?
henry isnt george father if he died in 1875 so that leave a possible relationship with a.n. other ?
