So the Prime Minister is not allowed to have a private opinion of people he meets?
There was nothing wrong with what he said or the fact he had a negative opinion of the woman.
The dictionary definition of bigot means nothing when contextually his remark was calling her a racist.
Many words have been hijacked and their meaning redefined.
Exotic for instance. 20 years ago the only definition would have been "from another country".
Now it is used to describe dancers, anything unusual, something experimental etc.
One of our Prime Ministers had a similar problem many years ago when he called an annoying pensioner a "Silly old bugger."
Since Australians like to call a spade a spade we mostly shrugged our shoulders and agreed with him.
