Thanks very much , i think between 1871 and 1881 she moves to london and marries william povey in fulhaM , who is also originally from that area of berkshire , coincidence? - but i still cannot fit Miriam into all this ??

How clear on the census is Miriams name, could it be Marian or Mary ann.

I think your Miriam is possibly Mary Ann, her age fluctuates a bit.

This is the only William born Berkshire with a father William I can see..

you've done an awful lot of work there jimmy and i appreciate it , perhaps mary ann is miriam( or vice versa )

If it was vice versa then surely she would have been Miriam on earlier census's.
