And as far as royilty is concered the best one died ( di ) but i think they should stay as if we did replace them with a president it would just cost as much for his up keep and hangers on, we would still have to maintain the palaces and castles as the majority publicly owed. So why not have a royal family and generate torisum and business by using them.

It was Brummie station. I don't know if the DJ was a Brummie.
The station was not supposed to even have the Queen's speech in their broadcast.
It was broadcast by accident and he was right to cut it off.
He was sacked for expressing an opinion on the speech. Not the Queen. Not the country. Just a speech that was available on dozens of other stations and not what his listeners were tuning in to hear.

I think that is really interesting Mark
So he was correct to cut it off but maybe the way he did it was inappropriate?
Maybe he should have phrased it better?
Or said something like ...oops wrong link now here's an advert
So he is allowed an opinion but does he have to bite on the bullet and respect his position in the company,
I don't know
we all have to do it.. in work, in public with family
Why can't he say that he found the Queen's speech boring ...interesting that one.
I never watch it but respect that others enjoy it.
