Pretty sure these are William & Sarahs kids.
I have just found on ancestry in someones family tree these children with parents as William Tall & Sarah Bloomer.
Will contact tree owner and see how far they have checked.

Looking at the physical registers.....these are not the standard layout. Each entry is written freehand with no partitions or rules columns. No information on who performed the ceremony.
They need not have had a falling out. Simply dividing the children between the two congregations might be a choice they made. I have three families (out of the 2000 or more in my tree) that have done this. So rare, but not unknown.
I am looking at the physcal registers for the other prebyterians in the area in case it is just bad indexing that makes him illusive.

I can't see anything resembling him in the non-conformist registers after looking at the actual pages, rather than the transcripts.
As for Miss Bloomer....searched for her yesterday but didn't find anything.
I was sent a new CD of registers this morning. I will have a look at that one...

Thousands of Bloomers in Rowley Regis and Halesowen...but not a single Sarah that fits.
Not many Bloomers elsewhere.

No there isn't Pete, already checked that, no trace of the family after the last baptism of William 1816. Paul has them in Worcester 1841. I did check for any change of Minister's, Park Lane had the same Pastor James Scott 1789 - 1827. Same Vicar for Cradley Chapel Thomas Best 1798 - 1821. I don't think we should read too much into this, the Vicar's Notebook, has plenty of instances of Cradley Families, of different faiths in the same families, as I have found with some of my Cradley Ancestors, they did Church hop

 Linell.

Bloomer was very much a Cradley name, so ok there is no Baptism for her, that doesn't mean she didn't exist or live there

I just made an observation about where the Bloomers are in numbers in the Parish Registers, not where Sarah may or may not have lived.
Why read things into my posts that arn't there?
In the 1901 census, there are barely more Bloomers living in Cradley than Rowley Regis. 135 to 110.

				I think I have found Sarah's family.
Father is Thomas. Mother is Ann.
Children are....
Rebekah Bloomer .... Baptised 19th December 1784 in Halesowen.
Sarah Bloomer..... Baptised 19th December 1784 in Halesowen. I wonder if they are twins?
Samuel Bloomer..... Baptised 13th December 1789 in Halesowen. Died 7th August 1790
Jane Bloomer.... Baptised 31st July 1791 in Halesowen.

These certainly look a possible - well done Mark - perhaps looking for Jane's marriage might help?
