marriage 1856
SAWYER Sarah RHODES John Dudley, St Edmund Dudley Register Office 201/002/477

Ok just reporting back that this marriage has been looked up
and it is indeed Rhodes so that census is incorrect not Rose
sarahs father is Jabez

I will open a topic for John Rhodes and unless we want to run any more with this thread we can archvie
I will add to bcc the marriage

Ok done this look up and it was fine on the Jabez Sawyer as father for JOhn
that Sarah married as Bastable but she is the dau of James Bastable aka Basterfield
the occup of bricklayer alerted me and we had a James Basterfield and Sarah dau that fitted
also on prev census this family down as Bastable
she made X on marriage so perhaps her name sounded like Bastable when entering info

these Bastables and Basterfileds we need to check both!

Ok can someone add all the census info on this couple pls
will flag for help

Added Census info and children and made connection to John Flander Knight as 1911 Census shows John Sawyer and Walter Sawyer his son living with Knights
