This is all good. At least it helps her go forward with the children.

Hopefully we can have some luck finding the marriage and confirming if the 1821 Philadelphia is her GGG Grandmother.

You would think with too unusual names like Mighall and Dignum everything would be easier to trace but what you end up with is weird and wonderfull spelling variations ~

Yes, I have suggested that to her and she is giving it a go.

She did send me some correspondence she had with them a few years ago but I think they have discovered more records since then.

it doesn't seem like the two families moved very far over quite a length of time.

so according to this c 1843 they were in brighton wonder if they ewere there in 1841 census ?
