It is Barrel and hoop bettcha
and in a black country accent that might be remembered as bowels :shock: :grin:

Since when do people from the Black Country pronounce bowls as "bowels"! What a crock! :roll:
I can't imagine kids would say to their mates " let's play barrel and hoop today ".
Unless of course you were middle class. :wink: :lol:

Talking with an old mate (80 yrs) yesterday and he said it was called 'Boweling'
(with the accent on BOW) or 'Trundling'.....
