I think the Spittle one is for another couple they seem to have a son William

so I will delete the spittle one for Edward ref...but think that he is still son of sophia rudge and Edward Holloway.

I think we have the wrong parents for Edward that marries sarah tromans

no where on census for Edward snr is he a boatloader...which sounds quite specific

wonder if the Edward born to spittle dies...

In 1881 edward Snr is a boat loader Frederick and his wife is Living with them
