Bringing this back as got some more info need to just verify via the look up but it is 100%
William Rose that married Ellen Harris
was a widower aged 32
and his father was a Francis a boot and shoe maker
So can we find a bapt or this Francis with William pre Wms first marriage in 1841

Flash Road runs parallel to Broadwell Road if thats any help to anyone.
If William Rose was a spademaker then he quite possibly learnt his trade in a 'Smithy.
1851 looks good to me.

Well i've got him in Aston Birmingham living in Nancy? with Sarah Moore 60 and Joseph Bullows 40
strange!! Some sort of hostel maybe?

On the same census forms Stoney Lane and Halford street?
This would indicate in the region of the present day Hawthorns Stadium home of West Bromwich Albion.
