This sounds interesting. There seems a Darby End connection with the Greaves, and a canal wharf at Darby End.. Grandad George Baker Lizzie husband later became a grinder for the money we were told. The dust got to him and caused his cancer according to my mother. No industrial compensation in those days. Alfred 34 and Alice Lavinia Baynham 37 and kids Alfred and Blanch lived at no 2 Bank Street in 1911 the two Hill families could be connected impossible to unravel too many Hills. think we have found Harry.

Think I have found Harry 1911 census 20 Meredith Street Cradley Heath Spade and shovel grinder. Wife Emily Hill. this fits one of dads relatives gave him a garden fork and spade as a wedding present. We still have them. Kids John Henry, Harry Ivan, and Samuel George
