AsGardener says..what a hero Jimmy! how.....? I'd seen the workhouse and "Rade" lot, amongst others, but not connected..

Clear my fog please..with these Ellen, Amelia, Ellen & emilia..I'll admit, I've lost the plot!

So, my Ellen Amelia Wright 1837, is Read. Parents William read & Elizabeth Playdon, poss in the workhouse 1861 with daughter Jane, &Is the Emilia Playdon in 1841...& 1851.
I'm confused by the Emma read (13) & Ellen Read (3) in 1851, or were they just very fond of the name? :)

Feel free to correct!

Can't quite believe this...thank you!

Ive just noticed , it's daughter in law Jimmy, but it also has u for unmarried...so how do we explain that! Stepdaughter would have been easier!
It's been suggested that "Wright " is mis transcribed..I'll know more when I get the marriage cert.
So, are her parents Read or Playdon?
She certainly is a woman of mystery! :)

I just edited my last pot Jimmy. I read daughter in law, unmarried..not stepdaughter which would have been easier. Maybe they meant stepdaughter...
