Further to my previous reply, it is now becoming apparent that the Sarah Caroline Taylor, daughter of Samuel and Delilah Taylor, could not have been the one that married Philip Henry Adams as she has been living in Chicago, Cook Country, Illinois for most of her life.

So am starting over again from scratch and looking at Sarah Taylor, daughter of Samuel and Mary A Taylor as well as a brother Samuel who could have been one of her witnesses along with Philip Henry Adams' sister Alma. Could this be the one? https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:Q27F-KXVG

1881 census
Samuel Taylor m Mary A ?
Children: -
William age 18 born in Lye
John age 15 born in Wollescote
Samuel age 13 born in Cradley (he could have been one of the witnesses along with Alma)
Mary A age 10 born in Cradley
Sara age 8 born in Cradley
