There are two possible James Nocks, one baptized 20 May 1711 Rowley Regis, son of Thomas Nock and Dinah, the other, more likely perhaps, baptized 18 July 1731, son of Joseph Nock and Hannah.
There is a record of a James Nock marrying a Mary Pearson on 29 November 1731 at Rowley Regis (IGI), but none of his marrying a Dorothy whose name is given a Cornelius Nock's fmoher at his christening. Perhaps the same woman, two Christian names??
