So if Isaac Hodgkins and Sarah Willetts married in 1860 and Edward Hodgkins Willetts born 1875
then he should be a Hodgkins!
so why is he a Willetts and down on marriage as illegitimate with father on cert as Isaac Hodgkins
dont get that

he is down as G.son in 1881 of Isaac and sarah

and is this his mother..think it may be!

trouble is I cant specify a mother as dont know and father.....hmmmm dont know

so need to narrow it down via age on census and that marriage

could be 1873 but b'day after 9 Feb that would make him 22 in 1896

or

1874 march regis birthday before 9 feb 1896

I think mother is that Caroline Willetts and Isaac has been put down to keep up appearances

if I can narrow down a birth I can send for it.

no Caroline Willetts where is she on the 1861
