Those records on Ancestry include the baptisms with the burials (think it's the way they list them from the titles - they are from the printed registers, which, of course, is all that survives..)

just wondering where the Barnsley comes from as we have Barnsley Nocks on bcc.

there is a bpt at RRegis for a Solomon Nock base born of Ann it says

need that marriage info to see who father of Sol. is in 1844
and if he is a widr cos as you say Pete Eliza is born abt 1835 and so may have diff. mother.

looked but cant see a solomon in 1841 that fits.

so father is a Thomas nock

does that help us find Solomon on census in 1841?

Those 'Barnsley/Nocks' connect to me somehow (can't remember how exactly!) - I do remember they are very confusing!! :-weren't they in Quarry Bank?
