Hi Jo just going to tweak it a little
thanks for adding all that.
But until it is confirmed that father is a James for Benjamin I am disconnecting
if you could add all the kids and wife maria that would be brill and when we get conf that father is a James I will join up

There's several bapt records for him with parents James Pearson and Leah but one of them has family pedigree with their children listed.

I havent got any other marriage details for Benjamin and Maria- no idea where I got Payne from now??

I think it probably is the father James but I like to be sure before we connect up.
And IGI submitted are certainly a start but always need verification

will see what that marriage says bit late I know ...

On the 1861 census there is a Frances, daur 14, below Margaret. 1851 census has Francis, son, 4, above Margaret.
Theres also on the 1871 census Adeline age, 9. After that its Kate, 1891 Kate A so presuming the same person?

Think when in doubt we have to check the free bmd for a birth Jo.
I found Benoni so changed that from Bonnor on Connections

The ancestry record says illegible but it says Dudley plain as day

Not seen anything for Frances (daur) yet

I dont think that the marriage is the one for Benjamin Pearson and Maria here

which is odd as no other marriage I can see between 1841- 1851 except that one.

BUT...
on this marriage although Benjamin has father James
James and Benjamin are nailers
plus James is dead by 1848 and he aint accord to 1861 the 1851 is an error i belieive
plus benj and Maria are widow/Widower
which is mad as they are having Benoni in 1843 at Garratts lane I have the bapt. and Ben is a miner!!

So perhaps Benjamin and Maria didnt marry.

but... the fact that at ST Giles bapt Benjamin pearson and Maria are living Garratts lane means I think we can join up..

So who the marriage is dunno will post later for us to delve..
