I wont hold back Rob, Is it because I want to win the Lottery ? . Don't we all ? I am not witty or suffer from sarcasm . I choose my friends , and can count them on one hand . Hmmmm, I cant think of anything els . Oh yes ,and I love my family tree . I am frightened of being flooded , that's because I know what it is like ,and why I want to move back to Malvern . I love my family , that is why I like Fb , because I can keep in touch with them. They are mostly nephews and nieces , because my brothers and sisters don't do computers . That is it. 8) Oh yes , and I am quite boring really .

To be truthful, I only started it, with a load of my own photos and then left it alone for a while. We had about 100 members last month, I posted something, which prompted a friend to post an old film he had done, a few people invited their friends and now we have nearly 1400 Members.

For 10 years, on RRO and The Gob, I've tried to get folk to dig out their old photos, before it's too late and nobody can recognise what they are. Even worse, old relatives die and their photos go to the tip! This Group has finally done what I wanted. There are the most amazing, previously unpublished photos coming out.

One or two have posted scans from Anthony Page's books but there aren't many and they do illustrate topics, if there are any complaints I will remove them but it isn't for profit and it is all about sharing memories.

Swearing and Smut have zero tolerance and offending Members blocked  So it's a safe place to show your Granny.

my mrs is now a member ! i wonder how long it takes her to be blocked for swearing ?

Kev's on there but i'm coming back to the Genealogy Forum.Back to to you and San and Barb even Peterd.I'm coming back to where i feel safe and cosy.
Back to where new members aren't vetoed on their profile or foreign sounding names.Where they don't have to prove their connections to Blackheath,Rowley Regis or surrounding areas.Back to where remarks are not deleted.

Nobody Pete, Robbie took umbrage because his wife is Dutch and one of my Admins had posted she wasn't letting in these Lady/Boys with foreign sounding names, usually with the surname and christian name in the wrong order. You know what he's like when he has his wooden spoon out. Somehow he seemed to be implying his wife wouldn't be allowed to be a Member which was twaddle and if you knew how many of these Spammer accounts we get, you'd appreciate what a pain it is having to deal with them all.

I see he's back in chatting to his mate this evening
