When i used to drink in Blackheath with my dad all the old family names were still,and probably still are,around.Adams,Rushton,Blakeway ,Cole and Redfern are all Blackheath names.

Forgot them!!

I think that's the main reason,well it's the only reason really,why i do Genealogy.Although there's someone,who shall remain nameless,who thinks i'm not serious enough about it and always make a pigs ear of it!!
It's the people,the local names of Rowley and Oldbury that i love to delve into.I've probably been to school or played football with their descendants.
