Hi,

Many thanks for all your hard work it's very much appreciated.

I think I may have found a link with the Sarah Round born 1821 who was living next door to Abel and Ann Homer on the 1841 census.

I found Sarah Round married Samuel Dudley 1844 West Bromwich, All Saints church (same church Abel and Ann married).

I've also found Sarah and Samuel Dudley on the 1861 census living in Tipton, interstingly Sarah was born 1821 Tipton and 2 of their children are named Eli ( short for Elijah) and Edward. Sarah could have been the sibling of Ann and Elijah and daughter of William and Hannah.

If you look at the 1841 Eli Round and family are living Canel St, Tipton and very nearby is Samuel Dudley born 1816 (in county), occupation Tailor and Elizabeth Dudley born 1816 (in county).

If we check Sarah and Samuel Dudley on the 1861 census living in Tipton, Samuel born 1815 Tipton, occupation Tailor. Maybe Elizabeth Dudley died very young and Samuel re married Sarah Round.

I'm convinced Eli Round is related to my Ann Round somehow (famous last words).

What do you think?

Regards
Adrian

Don't know if this is going to be of any help or not, but I've just recently had contact from a relation in England who has a couple of Rounds in his family tree. He is a Chance.

None of the names I've seen here are in his tree, but I guess there is the chance that they could be connected.

Oh and I've referred my new rellie to this site as well as connections :-)

See what a good girl I am NL
