Been in touch with the Bugle again and have been told there will be a 'follow up' to the story in the next issue
Unfortunately the information regarding the Family Tree that Pete found will be too late for that issue but been advised to send to them anyway.

Just to let you know, the family did know that Thomas became a minister and I think they may have a photograph of him.
Waiting for Avril to update us re: are they looking for further information or has all been solved
