The recording sounds like a brilliant idea. It may be that distant recollections sound too formal to him in a recording, but I think that we all know that what must be sixty years at least is bound to affect both memory and perspective. That said, it would be wrong to lose that story completely, even if there is a degree of embellishment to it!

I'll have to try it on Tim's Grandad and Grandma too. They are still clear-headed and have a wealth of historical recollections between them. Their accents probably would tell an expert in such things where they were born to within about a mile. :lol:
