This is definatley the right John- for in the diary it states- JOHN TAYLOR, died in Wales, 1873. Was 2nd youngest child of Ann Moseley and Samuel Taylor. THANK YOU!! THIS IS SO EXCITING!!!!

Again- definatley sounds right- what with them naming a child Moseley! The middle name HAWKES is also a family name passed down and was a first wife ( Elizabeth Hawkes) to Samuel Taylor senior. The middle name of COOK was also passed down, as Anne Moseley's mother was Elizabeth Cook, who was the daughter of John and Patience Cook from the Isle of Wight.
