Ok that is the other Thomas Gill

So no William there or Joseph

So are George and Elizabeth brothers?
Eliz marries Joseph and Josephs bro Thomas boards with Josephs bro in law George

What do you think FS do you think that Ann partridge is the marriage and it is a mistake on the marr that he is a bach and should say widower
cos I do

Rite see how this sounds....
FS and Di you better not be sleeping!!

Thomas Gill we have on Connections here...
http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... onnections

marries Louisa Jeavons in 1869
she dies in 1869
on 1871 he is a Widower living with Turleys who connect via his brother Joseph Gill who married a Turley
next door is other brother William
our Thomas is now a Widower

Then this Thomas marries Ann Partridge in 1874 and for some flippin reason is down as a bach...( I blame that alter wine!)
But the occup is good / dob is ok/ father and occup is good

He is then with Ann/Annie on 1881 and 1891 they call their kid Samuel prob after a brother of hers / Samuel Partridge as witness on marriage.

now....the other Thomas Gill b 1846-1849 either at RR or Quarry bank accord to which census you look at.....

This Thomas Gill is with parents as on above quote in 1861 with family
In 1871 he is in Quarry Bank with wife Edna Rutter who he married in 1866
She dies in 1875
he remarries a Catherine in 1881 and is with her on census in 81 and 91
so he cannot have married Ann Partridge in 1874
and he also cannot have married Lousia Jeavons in 1869 cos he married Edna in 1866 and still married to her in 1871

so therefore it must be our Thomas married Louisa Jeavons
then she dies
then he marries Ann partridge and the marr doc is slightly wrong.

1871 Bouchall Stourbridge Worcs
(183)
Samuel Reutter h m 57 b Bromsgrove Worcs
Jane Reutter wife 50 b Old swinford

(185)
Thomas Gill h m 25 miner b Quarry Bank Worcs
Esther Gill ( should say Edna) wife 28 b Amblecote Staffs
Benjamin Gill son 4 b Bouchall Worcs
Thomas Gill son 2 b Bouchall Worcs

1880
GILL Thomas CARTWRIGHT Catherine Dudley, St Thomas Dudley Register Office 204/035/470

on 1891 calls his 9 yr old dau Edna

wot we think

footnote I thought Quarry Bank was staffs
