That is really interesting Pete,about Rood End . I did read something about it.I have the grave no for my grandad Hughes , but I do not know if he will have a headstone . When I was a child my mom use to take me on a midland red bus that use to to pass through the middle of the cemeteries . I am not sure from what direction we were coming from ,but I think it might have been Bearwood where we changed from the no11 to the Midland red bus ,and i think the church yard was on the right . As we are C of E , it will the church side . I will be looking forward to seeing your photos . :grin: Rob : Just wondering if you know John Bevington , he went to Oldbury Tec and lives in Oldbury , but he might be older than you . :-)
