I checked the bapts for Ruth and Mary at the Independant Church Halesowen
some transcribing errors on IGI should say January not June
and the vicar put Gosty think it is Gorsty

she isnt on the census in 1841
wonder if Ruth is named after Alices mother
so wonder if a Ruth ? married an ? Edge
that might help find that ? edges father maybe brother to Lucy Edge

If that is them on the census and it looks good then he (james) is born 1778-1781
and the other james Harris is b 1796 halesowen
so must be different ones...?
