Well the traditional Bank Holiday weather is staying true, along with my little forecast, although I did get it a little wrong as it is now raining, which I predicted for Sunday. With no sun, it feels a lot colder, the wind has picked up and it is a cold wind, blowing very strong.

So this is a typical stock image for Bank Holiday on the beach

I assume you are refering to the Isle of Wight. From my immediate location, no i can not see the island, obviously a good view of the IOW is along the seafront.

No Bank Holiday here :-( We had ours last Wednesday. It is nice and sunny though and I did a spot of gardening yesterday (mostly lots of head-shaking and wondering if I should just change the soil in the weed-infested flower-beds). It is a holiday on Thursday, which you lot don't get I suppose. And then Whit Monday is hovering off-stage. At least the National day falls on Monday this year, hate it when it is on the weekend because there is no in lieu system.
If you are on holiday, enjoy yourselves!
