Except that according to her death certificate, Clara's birthday is the 25 July, not September. Does the card have a postmark Feral ?

I have a photo of Enoch and who looks to be his son, probably Matthew, as I can't find any other of his sone joining up. I've sent a copy to Andy so he can have a look at the uniform.

no postmark em!

most working class famlies with men serving at the front at the time , would write 3 or 4 postcards and place them in one envelope to save on money!

hope that makes sense?

I can't see September on the postcard, but Saturday 25th September 1915 was a Saturday, so she has the wrong date of birth on her death registration.

Just had a look on my records from St Michaels and I have the baptism for Clara

13 Aug 1913, St Michael, Tividale, Clara Elizabeth, Daur of Matthew & Fanny Partridge, of 11 Tipton Road

So I will add her date of birth as recorded on her death certificate, 23 July 1913
