Why would William Smith be with a William Hackett and Betty Hackett nee Rudge in 1851 and there in 1841 (as well as with his mother in 1841)
Then Richard Coley Smith with Wm Hacketts son Thomas Hackett and wife Phebe in 1851.

Yes I agree, think we are getting somewhere, none of them have baps though. Think the answer lies in Illey, Joseph Coley born 1785 with wife Sarah, must have had a brother, we know there was a Joseph there in 1766 from the Manor Suit Rolls, can only find them through Burials though, I just searched the Burials from 1813 to 1837, will have a look at the earlier ones. Yes will also look for a burial for Joseph born 1785.
