I'm up and i can't wait to wade through all the new data! I had a hard time getting to sleep because i was so excited. Good to know Diane that your research was all on ancestry. I'll try to recreate so i know how you got there...always trying to improve my searching skills

Jesse died at home, 32 Church Hill rd., on 17 Jan 1892, the informant was his daughter Mary.

Thirza died at home, Holyhead Road, 15 Mar, 1854, from "peurperal mania" (postpartum psychosis-maybe she commited suicide), this was 10 days after delivering Keturah. The midwife, Fanny Rowley, was the informant and signed with an X.

When Keturah was born on 5 Mar 1854, they were living on Holyhead Road in Wednesbury.

Your definition of an engineer makes a lot more sense to me!

Peter, where did you find the info you provided?

Once again, thank you so much, Lora

Yes, dianel, Sarah is their granddaughter, the daughter of Jesse & Thirza.

What are the reference citations for? Film at FamilySearch or a different database in the UK? What places did you both search?

My 3 ggrandmother, Keturah Dunn came to Pittsburgh, but i've never understood why, or who she was joining. I think i know when she came, but the data isn't 100% clear. Knowing a sister also went to Pittsburgh will help with the research.

Thank you SO much!

:P  8)

Thank you for adding the note to BCC! Do U.S. descendents go onto it or only those who remain in the BC?

Yes, I have Keturah's birth register and that data is accurate, but it is "Wednesbury".
I don't have the christening.
Death and Burial are correct.
The marriage date is probably correct. Pennsylvania is the absolutely worse state (except for maybe New York) for getting documents, and this marriage took place before it was required. I have "verified" that they were married from other means such as obits, newspaper articles, marriage licenses of their children, etc. This is the date I have from family records. She married William John Keilen.

Peter, well the beer worked!

Sorry I am not inviting new friends to add to Bcc can't cope with it as it is
we had to close it to new friends being invited in to add their info.
Where Jo aka Grangers 14 (other owner) and I can we try and add the info we find from the forum where
relevant to Bcc so it helps others. Then if someone connects they can contact the member via forum.
But it is only if we have the time so not a standard thing that stuff gets added you are one of the lucky ones!
Too cold to do anything else in sunny England.

So I have added that you connect to a couple that way hope if anyone sees it they can contact you via the forum
hope that helps :P

Thank y for adding the information to Keturah Dunn. The spelling of her husband is slightly off if you could fix when you get a chance to William J. Keilen.

Thank you for the explanation about BCC. I wasn't asking to personally add someone, just where the lines were as to who could be added. Thanks!

Yes, this is my line.

Keturah Dunn m William John Keilen
Emma Jane Keilen m Charles Howard Weisgerber
Howard E. Weisgerber m Gerda Sophia Lind
Betty Jane Weisgerber m Robert Emerson Miller (grandfather - living)

This has been an amazing breakthrough for me and I was able to duplicate all the searches so now I have a few more searching tools in my belt!!

Still would like to find some more info about John Dunn, father of Jesse, possibly married to Lydia. So that will be my next search project.

Hi BG ok amended Williams name

If you see any connections on Bcc ie 2 parts of the tree that can be connected pop a post on and we can
take a look I really want to try and connect all the tree up.

might be worth looking up that bapt to see if John father is a gardener on it as on marriage
put it for a look up in the look up section put the title like this

Bapt- St Thomas Dudley- Bibliogirl
then what you want
need date year and church etc to go straight to info
only if and when someone is going

have a go ...

poss bapt?
