Many thanks for info ,so if i come off the M5, I will come to the Borough Cemetery first,and then follow the main road i will come to another cemetery for St Thomas's. In all honesty I do not think i will find his grave,but at least i will have tried.I will have a look on Google Maps,Dt

Many Thanks for info, I do not expect to find his grave. So if I get off the M5 and follow the Stourbridge road, i will first come to the Borough cemetery, and I will find the St Thomas's further down the road. I will take a look on Google Maps first, otherwise i will be knocking on your door for a cup of tea As regards the Other cemetery you mention , Wolverhampton St, Cross St, it could be that he was buried there. I can see me doing alot of walking Kind regards Dt

If you are going to the Borough cemetery you can drive into it via the entrance in Clee Road: the traffic lights at the top of Stourbidge Rd form a junction with Wellington Rd, Queens Cross and Aston Rd. If you turn right into Aston Rd, take 2nd right (Park Head Rd) the entrance is on the right at the end, just as you turn into Clee Rd.
I don't think Thomas Cadman would be there though, given that he died on 1860. If you are looking for specific graves you are best going armed with reference number from the site mentioned above: the map on the website does not tell you where each section is, but if you have ref number I can point you in right direction.
There are no gravestones on the former St Thomas burial ground in Queens Cross.

Hi the two graves i want to find in the main cemetery are section D grave 164,and section A 111. I have a map of the cemetery which i downloaded from Dudley Borough council. I think i will find them okay. It is the grave for Thomas Cadman that i will have a problem with. The council seems not to know where he is. I find it all very sad,considering how he died and how young he was. My dad never told us ,and i expect his dad didn't tell him .It is only when people began to want to know about their family's past that all these things come out. Dt

The only records the Council have is for their own cemeteries. If Thomas is buried in a Church buriel ground, the only way you will find it is through looking in Parish Records, held at Dudley Archives. I'll have a look when I go there.
