I did actually write out a long reply answering all your questions but somehow it got lost when I hit "submit" I really can't be a*sed to type it all out again!

Seems to me, even way back in 1891, they were forever mis-spelling my surname which continues even today......

Thanks for that info. I Wikipeddied this Karl Blind guy and look at what I found!

Karl Blind (born 1826) was a German revolutionist and journalist, born at Mannheim.
Blind took part in the risings of 1848. He was sentenced to prison in consequence of a pamphlet he wrote entitled "German Hunger and German Princes," but he was rescued by the mob.
He found refuge in England, where he interested himself in democratic movements, and cultivated his literary as well as his political proclivities by contributing to magazines, and otherwise.

I hardly have any info on Christian and Axel's father. The only info I have so far is his name on Axel's UK marriage certificate (14th April 1889) where he's listed as Hans Scarrinious Moller. The middle name is hard to read and some have suggested it could be "Scavenius" which is, apparently a noble name (Vikinghunter smirks...) Family folklore indicates he was a member of the Danish Royal Household staff and often went out riding with the Danish king at the time. Not sure how much of that is true.

Are'nt these Vikings elusive?!!

Forgot to add. I actually have a pic of Hans Scavenius Moller with the Danish town name "Randers" on the bottom with Kobenhavn (Copenhagen) on the reverse. Also another pic of what possibly looks like his wife also with Randers at the bottom of it.
