Thank you all for your posts. It has taken my search further and explained why I could not find my grandfather on the censuses. It looks as if I need to access Irish records to follow up Benjamin Agar born about 1819. Any advice as to how I do this? Thank you again.

William is on census as born Birmingham was trying to find his birth which would give mothers
maiden name but cant see it

poss death for bridget but age out ?
