I meant Benjamin/ Ellen/ Hannah Wooldridge above - you must have posted a few seconds before me!

Jo/ NL - could you disconnect Benjamin who marries Elizabeth from Josiah - I really think we are dealing with a fourth Benjamin here. It's annoying me that much I might just order a cert for that Glos marriage unless we have a forum member in Gloucester who can do a lookup. Please leave Josiah with son Benjamin bapt 1813

its annoying me now too! cos I was the nutter that connected up!
JO do you want to disconnect or shall I or shall I butt out

I do think that it is possible that as Benjamin and Esther are together in census with willetts family he is not the one who married Elizabeth. Jo
I think the same - will go through what you alter and add what I can. Wonder exactly what Esther's connection to the Willetts family was : she was with them for a long time!

LOL - it looked very plausible, but now think we need to look at that 1847 marriage to see who that Benjamin's father really was.
Which church is it in Gloucestershire? wonder if the regis office would confirm name for you if you dropped them an email say you only want it if father is Josiah then when they say it isnt you will know we were correct to disconnect would save buying one

I have connected up Benjamin who married Ellen Sherwood to his earlier ancestors and added a few children that were missing in earlier generations. He has two lots of Downing ancestry - one of them via the Bate family, which I have added.
