could be Maria.... with a brother Samuel?
MIRIA HOLLAWAY Pedigree
Female
Birth: 17 JAN 1794

Christening: 22 JUL 1798 Saint Kenelms, Romsley, Worcester,

Father: BENJAMIN HOLLAWAY

Extracted

So I am thinking if I can connect Samuel Holloway b abt 1795 Worcs area to Maria as a sib
then that is why a Jael Sturman is living next door to him on 1861
and that would mean Jael Mole is indeed Jane Mole
one and the same

wot we think

i think that maria is a strong possibility like some of the other topic these families seem to be all around a place called Romsley the minnie james who married thomas grove her father isaac is from Romsley and is living next to holloway in one census i think all the parents grew up with each other

found this maria siblings all same christening date

ELIJAH HOLLOWAY
Birth: 19 JAN 1782
Christening: 22 JUL 1798 Saint Kenelms, Romsley, Worcester,

MIRIA HOLLAWAY
Birth: 17 JAN 1794
Christening: 22 JUL 1798 Saint Kenelms, Romsley, Worcester,

JOSEPH HOLLOWAY
Christening: 22 JUL 1798 Saint Kenelms, Romsley, Worcester,

parents

Father: BENJAMIN HOLLAWAY
Mother: MARY

also

EDWARD HOLLOWAY

Age at Christening: 6

BENJAMIN HOLLOWAY -
Christening: 14 NOV 1790 Halesowen, Worcester,

SAMUEL HOLLOWAY
Christening: 15 JUL 1796 Halesowen, Worcester,

Father: BENJAMIN HOLLAWAY
Mother: MARY

? are they the same family ?

this is the only marriage comming up ?

BENJAMIN HOLLOWAY :
MARY HODGETS
Marriage: 28 FEB 1781 Edgbaston, Warwick,

Hi Pete, I have spent ages researching this Holloway family from Haley Green Halesowen, nearest Church would have been St Kenelms Romsley, runs into Hayley Green, or St Leonards Frankley. I have Joseph 1797/8 in my tree, he is probably the son of Benjamin and Mary? I haven't entered them in as there are another two Joseph Holloway's Baptised at Halesowen in that time frame, although I would agree my Joseph is more than likely to be the one Baptised at St Kenelms, 22.7.1798. Here is a link to some of the Transcriptions:-

http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.anc ... omsley.htm

I am pretty sure that Benjamin and Mary are not alive in 1841, I traced all the Holloways in Hayley Green 1841, see my notes:-

Joseph is listed in the Poor Law Rate Book of 1840 as being a Rate Payer in Lutley, he is not on the 1841 Census, so I take it that he must have died around this time. I believe that the three Holloway families in Hayley Green Lutley 1841 are connected, there is Elizabeth Holloway, who seems to be an unmarried mother, I believe she is either a sister of Joseph or sister in law. Her age varies from aged 55 in 1841 to aged 76 in 1851. There is also Edward Holloway born about 1812 married to Sophia, with children Charlotte 5, Thomas 3, and Joseph 6 months, Edward is also connected somehow, none of this Holloway family seemed to have married?

I also have this Benjamin line:-
Benjamin Holloway Married Hannah Chatwin Halesowen 12.6.1745, interestingly they were both born Yardley, which fits in with the details of the Edgbaston Marriage for the other Benjamin and Mary. Have to ask San if someone from Yardley would Marry at Edgbaston, or would Yardley been more Northfield or Frankley?

This Benjamin and Hannah Chatwin move to Hasbury Nr Hayley Green, their children are Baptised at Halesowen:-
Joseph Holloway 1727
Fanny Holloway 1752
Mary Holloway 1754
Nancy Holloway1767
Benjamin Holloway 1756
Betty Chatwin Holloway 1764 Married Wm Willetts 18.4.1781 Halesowen Witness James Siviter. Wm is still alive in 1841 Living in Hasbury.

I feel there is a connection here to Benjamin and Mary, can't put my finger on it. Will see if these names are on BCC. linell.

I have done the look up for this Samuel Holloway and Phebe Robinson
he was a widower and his father is a Samuel Holloway.

He is living next door to Jael Sturman (nee Mole)
I think it is her uncle
and I think more than ever she is that Jane Mole on the BCC tree.
But the witnesses are not as I hoped a Maria Mole.
Maria Holloway is Jane Moles mother.

So not sure where to add this
do I put Samuel as brother to Maria with notes
do we put a father as Samuel for both of them....

need a bapt for both of them father Samuel
did we find one....?

if not can anyone see one

think I will have to add him on his own until we can find more proof
