Wow that's a good bit of detective work-love it.

Anything else?

bit more info on William Frank Turney- think he was in Hussars and servived both wars

John Charles Turney was in airforce and out in Burma in WW2

One of them- I think the latter left under a cloud-no clues.

She has grocer's book of Charles in 1892 at a place called Woburn Sands
Any chance of census lookup for 1891
