Hi Black Country Biker!
Yes, we are related!
My 2 x Great Grandfather was George KENDALL B 1853 - D 1903. You are a descendant of his Brother, William KENDALL
I have a will of William to Florence dated 1896 in which he left her £400. I had no idea that Auntie Flo adopted Sarah Annie KENDALL though! So thank you very much for this information! Do you have any photos that you wish to share? of any of the Kendall Clan? I very much look forward to hearing from you. I can send you a copy of the Will and i think i may have their marriage cert somewhere.....

Thats a shame Oscar. I was really hoping to see what Dinah looked like.

I have looked through the Weston folder, but cannot seem to find Dinah. I have just emailed Mallosa a few Photos of the Kendalls. Including my Great Grand father George Kendall B 1884 D 1928,Great Grand Mother Mary Ann Kendall (Nee Wells), and 4 of their Children.... George, Amy, Marrianne and my Grand father Dennis. Sadly, i do not have a photo of their 2nd Child, Joseph B1916 D1918 as he Perished after falling into a fire in the pub mentioned below....or so the story went. Any information on this that anyone may have would be greatly appreciated.

I have also uploaded a small screen print from a video of "The Round of Beef" pub which my Great Grand father George kept.

Hello again --- Sarah Annie Kendall wasn't adopted, she was the natural daughter of Florence and William Kendall, it was my grandfather and his younger brother who they adopted in 1901.... David Westley Taylor (known as Wes) and John William Taylor (known as Jack). They both went to the Royal Orphange in Wolverhampton for a few years, but my Grandad went back to live with Annie and her husband James John (Jim) Griffiths when he left the orphanage and started work at Stewarts and Lloyds. The house was near Haden Hill I think and Florence was also living with them as well as a baby George (see the 1911 census)... Any chance I could see a copy of the will from William to Florence please? I lived with my grandad for many years and he spoke very fondly of his Auntie Florrie as he called her... she was a chainmaker herself and carried on making chain long after William had passed away, in fact she is still listed as being a working chainmaker on the 1911 census when she was 60 years old.

Do we have dates of deaths for Sarah Anne Kendall (born Netherton 1877) and her husband James John Griffiths (born Llandovery Wales abt 1872). Sarah Anne was the daughter of William Kendall and Florence (Willetts).
