Can I just remind you of "The Hand of God". These things happen, this time it was to our advantage but we only needed a draw anyway (so I heard). So wouldn't make a difference to us going through. If anything, the injustice should have spurred them on to try a bit harder.

But stupid decisions like this can be rectified by allowing goal cameras.

Stupid penalties are a different matter. A couple of world cups ago Australia was robbed by a bad penalty after we had run circles around Italy for 88 minutes.

It was a disaster for Soccer in Australia as a generation of possible fans were turned off by the diving and begging for penalties.

It seems to me that all the time England were on the wrong end of these decisions no-one gave a stuff, now we're on the right end of them someone seems to be doing something about it.

Exactly. Let's all hate the English seems the general theme.

No, it is the fact that just prior to the Championship FIFA had rejected the idea of goal cameras.

It doesn't matter what the countries are involved. It is just being used as a "told you so" moment by the pro camera group.

Are we getting excited or what? It's going to be a roller coaster of a ride again tonight but as i've already said it feels like 1966.I'm quietly confident.

Well at least I don't have to be in Germany, to witness us being humiliated by the German team on Thursday.

 That feeling i had dissappeared with the help of Andrews Liver Salts!!
What a load of rubbish!! They were useless in the second half.
Keep Joe Hart,Stevie Gerrard,Scott Parker,Chamberlain and Walcott and ditch the rest!!
Mind you we will never have a decent national side when there are so many foreigners in the Premier League.

That's been the problem.Spoilt!! Success at a far too early age!! 46 years of hurt but Jules Rimet's still gleaming!!
