NL, Ann Lowe and Mary Ann Poole are only 4 years out in age. I think this is still a possibility.

I think the question is whether her father was Joseph Lowe or another unknown person. I can't find a marriage for Mary Ann Poole and Joseph Lowe. Anyone?

Yeah, I saw that one, NL, but he would be 11 and she would be 6!
Maybe they didn't actually marry. Which is why Hannah varied between giving her father the surname Poole and Lowe.

can any one find a john and lucy poole and family in 1841,51 census as in 61 and 81 there next door to the lowes ?

are we saying that John and Lucy are parents of a Mary ann or Ann Poole
and that Joseph Lowe is bro to Eber with Parents...do we know them?

she is a lodger
then has his kids ie Thomas Joseph and Hannah
????
