Can't find any of the family in 1911

There is a marriage on WMBMD for William Bastable and Margaret McGuiness - West Bromwich Register Office - 1889 (Might this be a catholic marriage at St Francis? - does anyone have details)

I can't find another marriage for William Bastable and a Elizabeth- except for the one to Elizabeth Keefe.

The William who married Elizabeth Keefe seems to have been adopted by the Walker Family here :

Note on Ancestry : 1881 census shows William as being adopted and living with the Walkers. No trace of William's parents Mary - William's daughter said she was brought up by the Walkers after William was killed in the war and her mom remarried to Fred Abbey. Nelson street Tat bank oldbury

So - could this be the same person, if his mother Margaret has also shown him on her census.

After spending a good 4 hours on this bit of the Bastables I have come up with this family :

Margaret, a widow, and her children are living at 34 Dibble Road in Smethwick in 1911, very near the address of the parents of William George Bastable who died in WW1.

A few trees on Ancestry have his parents as Edward and Margaret, which is what I was thinking until I saw the entry on CWGC site which gives his parents as WG and Margaret.

I had thought that it was Edward and Ruth Bastable in Rood End, Antie Em, but I was obviously wrong! These are the Abbeys as far as I can see:

So why on that CWCG report are parents Wm and Margaret?

The one married to Elizabeth Keefe would have been aged 40 on death in 1917
