You could order from the GRO

http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/

Use the references from FreeBMD
Deaths Jun 1857
Toy William Stourbridge 6c 13[0_]

Looks like the image wasnt so good but the jpg version is more clear and the last number is 130.
Jo :)

Which William toy are you now looking for?

The one born in 1788 dies in 1871 you have the death for that one...and census backs up place of death.

Is it Wm Toy son you are looking for?

I'm looking for his father and mother.

I did find a Wm Toy b 1768 who married an Elizabeth Westwood. I haven't found any other Toy(e)'s that fit, I know it's a long shot but my instinct tells me this is them, I just haven't found concrete proof.

I know you don't put anything on your BCC unless its 100% certain, but there must be some way of finding out.

I have put as a possible in Bcc and yes need more proof.
Bit of a brickwall this one so will move to there.

Just noticed you had another one running in Bc section re Wm Toys bapt
so will flag this death one to archive as we have Wm Toys death record in 1871

that way the query of Wm Toys parents is running as a new thread in brickwalls

so flagging to arc.

Ok, so does that mean it won't be closed?

Whilst I appreciate all the help everyone gives me, do you think it may be an option to bring in a Geneaologist?
