We've had hail here, although other places have had snow. It started sunday with a bolt of lightening (quite close), a really noisy thunder (made me jump half a mile even though I'd seen the lightening) then the heavens opened and the hail started. It was like the cloud just let the whole lot go at once!
It's almost all gone now.
This weekend they're forecasting the third weekend storm in a row - keeps it quite at A&E though, so my collegues shouldn't have too bad a weekend!

Missed us here so far, very cold and icy though.
The weather has delayed my husbands chopper but is now on solid ground on his way home

Think you better revise that Jo <LOL> Poor hubby, he always seems to be stuck in bad weather. One of the hazards of his job obviously, at least he will be back soon, won't hear from you for a few days then Jo
Linell.

This was Motorway driving on Sunday for me. This was in South Lanarkshire.

Then, when I got to Helensburgh we had quite heavy snow overnight. Since then we have had rain, followed by a severe frost, which turned the remaining snow to sheet ice. That was followed by heavy rain, which is still falling but now we have the wind and oh boy, do we have the wind. I'm supposed to be driving home tomorrow, as I have a big party to go to on Saturday.

I was more than halfway there where it happened and travelling on my own. The traffic going the other way came to a standstill, so I think I took the best option.

Yes, we were there when they were filming all that lot on the front at Helensburgh. The policeman in the high viz suit kept inflating and taking off, so funny.
Snowing here now but don't think it will be too much, so off to pack the car now.
