Mark, I had always thought this Benjamin Garratt, living at Netherton Hill in 1861, a more likely candidate for the son of Shelah Garratt and Elizabeth Barnett:

1861 at Netherton Hill, Dudley
Benjamin Garratt 35 Excavator b. Worcestershire, Netherton, Dudley
Emma Garratt 24 b. Lugnor(?), Cardington
Elizabeth J Garratt 2 b. Worcs., Dudley
Sarah Ann Garratt 1 MO b. Worcestershire, Netherton, Dudley

Especially as Shelah and Elizabeth are at Netherton Hill in the previous 2 census.

Sorry Mark not that Benjamin, he was discarded early this year, and I don't think that Shelah's Benjamin remarried an Emma, but thats for another posting.

Thomas married Sarah Guest 1825, remarried an Ann or Hannah date unknown.
Children maybe Benjamin 1825, Samuel 1827, Sarah date unknown.
Anybody help with these.

I was looking to see if they had a Benjamin in abt 1825 and a Samuel in abt 1827, Samuel married Elizabeth Priest and they immigrated to Tasmania in 1863 with their two children.

He worked in Benjamin's blacksmith shop
