Another sunny day here!
We've just had our front hedge dug up, doesn't half look wierd. Least we know what we're doing this autumn - planting a new one, redoing our driveway and (hopefully) getting my veggie patch ready for next spring!

You're going to be busy then. Lovely day here - just hanging out washing and noticed that two big trees have fallen over in the park and are leaning against our back fence. Just rung the Sandwell Council to be told that they only have one person to do this sort of job. So probably won't see him until next summer - the strong winds we had last week must have brought down loads of trees.

Cold Cold Cold!!

A friend of mine heard we will have snow at the end of October, don't know where that came from just hope it's not true. We haven't got the snow chains for the tyres yet.

Nooooo! :(

We'll never get our new hedge planted then. Last year we had snow from the end of november to the middle of march - definately not what we want this year!

I'm hoping my husband's shopping helps. He bourght a new pair of sunglasses at the beginning of the "summer" which he hasn't used yet. Luckily he forgot to take them on our holidays, so the sun shinned. :-) He's just bourght a new really warm winter coat....so here's hoping

After some 30 degree weather last week we have been hit with the worst September storms in five decades.

The airport was shutdown but worst of all...

THEY HAD TO CLOSE THE MELBOURNE SHOW :o  :(

The poor parents who took their kids for a day at the show and then got hit with this weather.

Oh well, they have another week.

Looks like 13 degrees for the football Grand Final this weekend.

I wonder what 100,000 sets of chattering teeth sounds like?

I have found a downside to the gorgeous weather, my 8 year old Grandson went off to the Park with his elder brother after School yesterday, fell off the slide and has broken his arm in two places. Poor Cam he is such a sweety, it wouldn't have happened but for the hot weather he would have been at home on the Play Station :!: He may have to have an Op, will be off School for I don't know how long and my daughter cannot go to work :!:
