can some kind soul look up 9683 pte john burns for me on 1911 census, he was killed on 1st july 1916 aged 21 :cry:

Hi Beardie - John Burns is my Great Great Uncle (Violet was my Great Grandmother). Our family have been researching the Burns family for a while, and we have been to visit John's grave at Foncquevilliers Cemetery. However, we are yet to find a photo of him. If you have any links that you think may be useful, I would be really grateful if you could pass them on. Thanks for your help!

does this look right ? or am i barking up the wrong tree
did he knock 5 years off his age to enlist :shock:

Googled ideal weight for height
6 ft 7inches would be 220 lbs
5 ft 7inches would be 148 lbs
I live in my own little world. But it's ok....they know me here!
